The flywheel has been manufactured from aluminum and cast iron and is fully recyclable.
! Custom flywheel requires the use of a ring gear / flywheel from a Toyota JZ automatic transmission - not included in the kit!

1. Which starter should be used with the PMC Motorsport Toyota 1JZ 2JZ - Mazda RX-8 adapter?
For mounting the adapter, use a Toyota JZ starter without the additional pinion cover.
2. Which ring gear should be used for the PMC Motorsport Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ - BMW flywheel?
When installing the PMC Motorsport Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ - BMW flywheel, you should use the ring gear (flywheel) from the automatic version of Toyota 1JZ / 2JZ (OE number: 32101-30090 | 32101-22050) and one Toyota spacer washer (OE number: 32116-22020) with a thickness of 4.5 mm between the engine block and the ring gear.
3. What clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport Toyota 1JZ 2JZ - Mazda RX-8 flywheel?
The Toyota 1JZ 2JZ - Mazda RX-8 flywheel is designed for a clutch pressure plate from Ford 2.0 TDCi and a disc from the Ford 2.0 TDCi 23x26-23N clutch kit. The PMC flywheel kit includes an adapter with a central slave cylinder.
