Parts are intended for installation by professionals with knowledge of engine SWAPs and car modifications - in workshops and using tools appropriately adapted for this purpose.
The adapter installation manual contains only basic knowledge necessary for the physical connection of the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the car, additional modifications may occur, such as: fitting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
Our adapters are made from materials that are fully recyclable.
The flywheel requires the use of a PMC gearbox adapter. For installation, it is necessary to use an OE BMW M62 automatic transmission flexplate (part no. 11 22 1 435 235 / 1435235 or 11 22 1 741 143 / 1741143). The clutch release fork should be mounted in the lower position of the release bearing.

The flywheel should be tightened to 120Nm / 88.5 ft·lb, using thread locker.
- Does the PMC flywheel need additional balancing?
Every PMC Motorsport flywheel is balanced before shipping (our tolerance is 4g). In the case of installing a custom clutch kit, we recommend an additional check.
