SACHS Racing - Clutch Disc - Sintered metal, rigid design

Sintered clutch discs are subject to very high loads and are complex components with a compact design. In addition to transmitting torque, they fulfill additional tasks such as damping torsional vibrations and providing exceptionally high heat resistance. Rigid clutch discs have fewer components than the spring-loaded version and are less prone to failure at the limit, while offering higher torque transmission capabilities.

The SACHS Racing sintered metal clutch disc 881864.000685 has a higher thermal load capacity and higher speed resistance than organic standard clutch discs and is particularly resistant to dirt and oil. It enables a harder start, i.e., sudden clutch engagement and the transmission of significantly higher torques. Combined with the SACHS Performance pressure plate, you get the ideal clutch for motorsport and extreme performance vehicles. - Benefit from top quality combined with solid motorsport expertise.

Lining suspension usually improves starting comfort and ensures even support of the linings. Lining springs are wavy segments of spring plates with a spring travel of up to approx. 1 mm, which are riveted to the clutch disc carrier plate on the gearbox side. In high-performance SACHS Racing clutch discs, this lining suspension is typically omitted in favor of higher transmittable torque compared to a standard clutch disc.
