An adapter enabling the connection (swap / conversion) of a BMW N55 engine with an 8-speed automatic ZF 8HP (ZF Friedrichshafen) gearbox from a BMW. The kit includes: an aluminum gearbox adapter and a converter adapter, along with a starter ring gear - so the factory BMW starter remains.

The installation manual contains a basic diagram for mounting the engine and gearbox outside the car.
The gearbox adapter and flywheel are made of aluminum and cast iron and are fully recyclable.
The gearbox adapter should be mounted to the engine first.
