Clutch kit allowing the connection (swap / conversion) of the Ford Barra engine with a manual 6-speed ZF (ZF Friedrichshafen) GS6 gearbox from BMW. The adapter is designed for the very popular and durable 6-speed ZF GS6-53DZ gearbox. The kit includes a Sachs XTend 3000.950.709-S twin-disc clutch: a self-adjusting pressure plate, two organic clutch discs, and a release bearing with a clutch fork. Maximum torque: 700Nm / 516.12 lb/ft.

The adapter installation instructions provide only the basic knowledge necessary for the physical connection of the engine to the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the vehicle, additional modifications may occur, such as: fitting of mounts, bushings, and engine firewall, transmission tunnel modifications, driveshaft length adjustments, etc.
Our adapters are made from materials that are entirely recyclable.

The adapter requires the use of a BMW M50 M54 starter motor (OE numbers provided in parameters) / on some Ford Barra engine models, the starter motor adapter included with the kit must be ground down to fit.

2. Can I use the PMC Motorsport Ford Barra - BMW gearbox adapter for ZF 8HP?
Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market (applies to adapters manufactured after 2022). If you wish to change the gearbox to a ZF 8HP automatic, the standard flywheel must be replaced with an 8HP converter adapter (PMC Motorsport).
