PMC Motorsport Aluminum Oil Filter Cover for BMW M52 M54 with Two Sensor Ports

The aluminum cover allows the installation of the original oil filter and up to two sensors, e.g., oil temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor. This tuning replacement for BMW OE 11 42 1 744 000 / 11 42 1744000 fits the BMW OE base / bracket 11 42 1 738 639 / 11 42 1 738 640 used in BMW M52 M54 M56 engines. The adapter can be installed in a BMW M50 engine after mounting/replacing the base with the one used in BMW M52 M54 M56 (P&P). If the oil filter wears out, it can be replaced with an OE or equivalent replacement filter—recommended with an additional plastic basket.
