The Bump Stop – 2" Threaded Hydraulic Suspension Stop 4x4 from PMC Motorsport is a high-performance suspension component designed for extreme off-road conditions. It provides not only advanced protection for the driveline but also allows precise tuning of the suspension system to match vehicle weight, wheel travel, and driving style.

What is a threaded hydraulic bump stop?

This is a suspension component designed to absorb energy during extreme compression using an internal hydraulic damping mechanism. Unlike traditional rubber bump stops, a hydraulic bump stop works progressively, with resistance increasing as the compression deepens. Thanks to its threaded body, you can easily and precisely adjust the position of the bump stop without the need for spacers or shims.

After compression, the bump stop slowly returns to its neutral position, preventing a sudden rebound that could otherwise lift the vehicle excessively after hitting a rock, ditch, or landing from a jump.
