Lightweight rigid flywheel (SMF) for Nissan VQ35HR, VQ37HR, and VQ37VHR engines. This flywheel is CNC machined from high-grade aluminum and features a replaceable steel friction surface. Factory mounting points have been perfectly preserved, matching the original OE flywheel [Plug&Play / P&P Flywheel Type].
Replace your factory dual-mass flywheel with a rigid single-mass flywheel. The lower inertia of a lightweight flywheel provides significantly better and sharper throttle response, noticeably improving the car's acceleration. While it does not increase nominal engine horsepower, it drastically reduces drivetrain parasitic losses, resulting in higher power output at the wheels (WHP). Lightweight flywheels are highly effective in motorsport and on twisty race tracks, allowing the vehicle to regain speed much faster when exiting corners.

Please note: A lightweight single-mass flywheel provides uncompromising throttle response at the expense of eliminating factory dual-mass dampening elements (torsional vibrations). This leads to a much more direct drivetrain engagement, which naturally might increase audible mechanical noise from the gearbox internals. This is a normal, inherent, and expected characteristic of sports vehicles resulting from the rigid engine-to-transmission connection.
