The lower inertia of a lightweight flywheel results in significantly better and faster throttle response, improving the car's acceleration. Although it doesn't increase engine power, it reduces drivetrain losses, resulting in slightly higher power at the wheels. Lightweight flywheels perform exceptionally well on twisty tracks, as the car regains speed lost in corners much faster.

Flywheel Specification
Lightweight rigid flywheel for Mazda 1.6 16V B6-ZE B6ZE(RS) engines. CNC machined from aluminum, it features a replaceable steel friction surface. Mounting points are identical to the OE flywheel.

Note for Enthusiasts: A lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising performance and engine response by removing factory harmonic dampening. This results in a more mechanical feel and more direct power delivery. Please be aware that this can naturally increase the noise from the gearbox (gear rattle), which is a normal characteristic of performance-oriented rigid flywheels.
