The Purelux Black X-Slim S1000 Gen3 is part of the manufacturer's updated Black X-Slim auxiliary light series, providing top quality at an affordable price. The S1000 Gen3 features two power modes familiar from the previous version, a wide light beam, and of course, a stylish design with a truly sleek housing. New for this generation, the dual-color (amber or white) parking light has been updated to be dynamic, and switching between power modes is now even easier. The Black X-Slim S1000 is now even more stylish and user-friendly! With two different power modes, the panel can be used with a unique selection integrated into the user interface (see more below) to enable either a more moderate road-legal power mode or the more powerful PowerBoost® mode intended for off-road use. Even in the road-legal mode, the S1000 Gen3 offers significantly more light output than the previous model, and when PowerBoost® mode is activated, the measured light output increases to 13,794 lumens, with an impressive measured range of 556 meters at 1 lux.

Note! The difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road-legal mode is clearly visible – PowerBoost® mode is much more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal traffic, only off-road.

The S1000 Gen3 reflector beam combines elements optimized for road traffic: in the center of the light pattern is a clear, long-range "main spot," which is a bright, far-reaching focal point, complemented by a wide beam that expands laterally on both sides to illuminate the road from side to side directly from the front. The light beam is formed flat with renewed reflectors, so light is not wasted directly in front of the vehicle or on treetops. The biggest difference between curved and straight body models is the width of the light beam: a curved body spreads the light beam horizontally wide, and the main beam in the center is twice as wide as in the straight model. Correspondingly, in the straight version, the entire light flux of the main spot is directed straight forward, allowing the light range to be maximized. Comparing the cones, it is recommended to choose the curved version when looking for a wide cone and improvement in overall visibility. If your vehicle's own lights illuminate the first approx. 50-100 meters and you want to invest more in range, the straight model is the right choice. The panel's color temperature is 5700 Kelvin. Due to its size, the S1000 Gen3 is best suited for roof installations or heavy equipment use.

The lamp features a black frame and dark optics, as indicated by its name, giving the panel an elegant and modern look. Dark optics have also been introduced to the parking light, so the parking light beam running along the bottom edge of the lens only stands out when it is turned on, making the light stylish both when on and off. The frames of the Black X-Slim series panels are made of powder-coated and durable aluminum alloy, and the lenses are made of practically indestructible polycarbonate. The lamps are also completely protected against water and dust according to the IP69K classification. The frameless front part of the lamps prevents the accumulation of snow, ice, and dirt in front of the lens, ensuring the light beam is not easily obscured as is the case with auxiliary lights equipped with a frame.

Installation is easy thanks to the DTP-2 connector on the lamp's power cable, and the width-adjustable bottom and end brackets included in the set provide many mounting options. The wide operating voltage (9-32 V) enables installation in 12 V and 24 V systems. The lamp is protected against radio interference according to the ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24-month) warranty!
