Adjustable control arm set designed for BMW 3 Series E90 E91 E92 E93 (3er). Control arms are made of high-grade steel, powder-coated in RAL 9005 matte black. The kit is designed for coilover suspension systems. Control arms intended for motorsport use.
PMC Technik — forged adjustment links with CFT rolled threads and 40HM (42CrMo4/AISI 4140) rod ends with PTFE liners.
Forged Rods (Monoblock): Solid construction, threaded on both sides — no welds, no pressed-in sleeves. M16×1.5 CFT rolled thread. RAL 9005 powder coating.
PMC 40HM Rod Ends: Ball joints with 42CrMo4 / AISI 4140 housing (chromoly, Werkstoff 1.7225), Rm 900–1100 MPa after heat treatment. PTFE sliding liner — maintenance-free operation, temperature range -50°C to +150°C.
Forged Monoblock — ZERO welds, ZERO HAZ
Rod forged from a single piece of steel. No Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) — homogeneous structure along the entire length. Safety factor of 6:1 under dynamic load. Available in stock in sizes M10–M24.
CFT — Cold Formed Thread
Plastically formed thread without cutting — material fibers are compressed, not cut.
Up to 30% higher tensile strength vs. cut threads
Ra ≤ 0.8 µm — surface smoothness eliminating seizing during adjustment
Smooth adjustment maintained after years of use and exposure to corrosion
