PMC Motorsport Lightweight (rigid / single-mass) flywheel - Opel Astra F G H | Vectra A B | Tigra A B - SMF / 200mm / 3,43kg
Lightweight rigid flywheel for the Opel engine. The flywheel is CNC-machined from aluminum and features a replaceable steel friction surface. Mounting points have been preserved as in the OE flywheel.
Why choose a lightweight flywheel? Reducing the rotational mass (inertia) leads to significantly faster throttle response and improved vehicle acceleration. While it doesn't increase raw engine power, it minimizes drivetrain losses, delivering more power directly to the wheels. This is an essential upgrade for track days and racing, allowing the car to recover speed much quicker coming out of corners.

Note for Enthusiasts: A lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising performance and engine response by removing factory harmonic dampening. This results in a more mechanical feel and more direct power delivery. Please be aware that this can naturally increase the noise from the gearbox (gear rattle), which is a normal characteristic of performance-oriented rigid flywheels.
