Lightweight rigid (single-mass) flywheel for Ford 2.5T HYDA HUBA and Volvo B 5254 engines. The flywheel is CNC-machined from aluminum, features a replaceable steel friction surface and a galvanized starter ring gear. The mounting points have been kept the same as in the OE flywheel (Plug & Play / P&P flywheel). Flywheel diameter Ø240mm, weight is only 6.32kg (weight reduction compared to OE approx. 48%), it features a trigger wheel compatible with the OE crankshaft position sensor. The flywheel fits Ford Focus II 2.5 ST RS, Mondeo IV, and Volvo C30 S40 S80 V50
The lower inertia of a lightweight flywheel results in a significantly better and faster throttle response, improving the car's acceleration. Although it does not increase engine power, it reduces drivetrain power losses, translating to slightly more horsepower at the wheels. Lightweight flywheels perform exceptionally well on twisty tracks, as the car regains speed lost in corners much quicker.

It is worth noting that a lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising throttle response at the expense of eliminating factory dampening components. This results in more direct drivetrain operation, which may lead to a natural increase in the audibility of gearbox mechanisms. This is a desired characteristic in sports vehicles, resulting from the rigid connection of the engine to the drivetrain.
