Lightweight rigid (single-mass) flywheel for PSA EW series 1.8 16V 2.0 16V 2.2 16V engines. CNC machined from aluminum, features a replaceable steel friction plate and a zinc-plated starter ring gear. Mounting points are preserved as in the OE flywheel (P&P flywheel). Flywheel diameter Ø228mm, weight is only 4.30kg (weight reduction compared to OE approx. 38%) features a trigger ring compatible with the OE crankshaft position sensor.. The flywheel fits Peugeot 206 (2.0 16V / S16 / GTI / RC) / 207 (2.0 16V) / 307 (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V) / 406 (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V, 2.2 16V) / 407 (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V, 2.2 16V) and Citroen Xsara (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V) and C4 (1.8 16V, 2.0 16V)
The lower inertia of a lightweight flywheel provides significantly better and faster throttle response, improving the car's acceleration. Although engine power is not increased, drivetrain losses are reduced, resulting in slightly higher power at the wheels. Lightweight flywheels perform very well on twisty tracks, as the vehicle recovers speed lost in corners much faster.

It is worth remembering that a lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising throttle response at the cost of eliminating factory damping elements. This translates into a more direct drivetrain operation, which may result in a natural increase in the audibility of gearbox mechanisms. This is a desirable characteristic in sports vehicles, resulting from a rigid connection between the engine and the drive.
