Tighten the flywheel bolts to the crankshaft with a torque of 130 Nm (95.9 lb⋅ft) using threadlocker. Mount the clutch fork on the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a two-position bearing). A 240 mm clutch disc with a 32.5x35-26N spline dedicated to the GS6-53DZ transmission must be used. The GS6-53DZ HGA (E46 330d) and GS6X53DZ HGB (xDrive) transmissions are mounted to the adapter in the same way as the M57 GS5-39DZ gearbox – according to the M57 gearbox mounting diagram, while the HGD, JGA, HGE, and JGB gearboxes are mounted according to the M57N gearbox diagram. To mount the adapter, use the Nissan KA24 starter motor OE 23300-53F11 (not included). The release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder are not included in the kit – they are retained from your gearbox.
