Purpose-built for compatible Honda S2000 AP1 and AP2 models, the Link G4X S2000X Plug-In ECU is designed to fit directly into the factory ECU location using the original mounting points, wiring loom and connectors. For confirmed compatible applications, installation does not require modification of the original engine wiring harness or additional adapter looms. Most factory features are supported, depending on the vehicle and ECU configuration. The ECU includes a startup map that must be checked and calibrated for the specific engine before operation. The result is a clean, reliable installation that maintains a factory appearance while providing modern engine management capabilities.
Link G4X Plug-In ECUs share the same processor, firmware, software and standard G4X feature set found throughout the G4X range. Features include Dual CAN Bus, Flex Fuel, Flexible Engine Protection Limiters, CAN Keypad Control, Open and Closed Loop Boost Control, Dual Closed Loop Lambda, VVT Control, a built-in Trigger Oscilloscope, compatibility with aftermarket displays, Direct Automatic Transmission Control and 512MB of onboard data logging.
Transmission Compatibility: The S2000X is designed for Plug-In installation in compatible manual-transmission vehicles only. Although Direct Automatic Transmission Control is a supported G4X software capability, it does not provide Plug-In compatibility with factory automatic-transmission vehicles.
E-Throttle Compatibility: The S2000X does not support Honda S2000 models equipped with a factory electronic throttle (Drive-By-Wire). Before purchasing, please verify that your vehicle uses a compatible factory throttle system and ECU connector configuration.

Availability and implementation of individual functions depend on the vehicle, wiring, additional equipment and ECU configuration.
A Link Plug-In ECU is an ideal solution when available for your vehicle and the original wiring remains in good condition, providing modern engine management without the complexity of a complete wire-in installation. The ECU is configured and tuned using LINK PCLink software.
Models Supported
The Link G4X S2000X Plug-In ECU is designed for the following Honda S2000 applications:
- Honda S2000 AP1, 1999-2004.
- Honda S2000 AP2, from 2005, non-E-Throttle models only.
Important: Compatibility depends on the vehicle model, production year, engine configuration, factory throttle system, ECU connector arrangement and original wiring configuration. The vehicles listed above are not automatically guaranteed to be compatible. Before purchasing, please verify that your factory ECU connector matches the product photos and that your vehicle does not use a factory electronic throttle system.

- The S2000X supports compatible manual-transmission vehicles only.
- This ECU does not support factory E-Throttle (Drive-By-Wire) models.
- Honda S2000 AP2 compatibility is limited to versions equipped with a compatible non-E-Throttle system.
- Most factory features are supported, depending on the vehicle and ECU configuration.
- The supplied startup map is an initial configuration, not a completed engine tune. All relevant settings, wiring assignments and calibrations must be checked and verified before engine operation.
CAN Connection Information
This Plug-In ECU features a new 4-pin powered CAN connector and cannot use the older CANPCB cable for CAN communication. To connect external CAN devices, use the CANJST4 cable (Code: 101-0198).
The new 4-pin CAN connector and CANJST4 cable provide CAN communication together with a protected 12V power supply and ground connection for compatible CAN devices. The power supply is protected by a self-resetting fuse rated at 3A continuous.
