El manual de instalación del adaptador contiene solo los conocimientos básicos necesarios para conectar físicamente el motor a la caja de cambios fuera de la carrocería del coche.
Según el vehículo, pueden ser necesarias modificaciones adicionales, tales como: ajuste de soportes, casquillos, pared de fuego del motor, túnel de transmisión, longitud del árbol de transmisión, etc.
