Installation instructions

To install the flywheel, it is necessary to use the automatic version ring gear from Toyota / Lexus OE 32101-50010 and a 4.5 mm spacer washer between the engine block and ring gear, Toyota OE 32116-50010 (not included). Torque the flywheel to the crankshaft using the supplied bolts to 72 Nm (53.1 lb⋅ft) using threadlocker. Use the original Toyota UZ (OE) starter motor for adapter installation. The release bearing is included in the Sachs XTend kit; clutch fork and slave cylinder are not included – they must be selected according to your gearbox.

ACT / Spec / Tanaci clutches are also frequently used – custom pressure plates must fit the BMW OE flywheel (M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For the GS5-39DZ gearbox, use a 240 mm clutch disc with a 28x35-10N spline.
