Parts intended for installation by professionals with knowledge in the field of engine SWAPs and car modifications - in workshops and using tools appropriately adapted for this purpose.
The adapter installation instructions contain only basic knowledge necessary for physically connecting the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the car you have, additional modifications may occur, such as: fitting mounts, pads, and engine firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
We make adapters from materials that are entirely recyclable.
To install the flywheel, it is necessary to use the flywheel from the automatic version Mercedes-Benz OE a2730300312 (not included). The clutch fork is mounted on the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a two-position bearing).

1. Which starter motor should be used with the PMC Motorsport Mercedes-Benz - BMW adapter?
For mounting the adapter, use the Mercedes-Benz OE starter motor.
2. Which ring gear should be used for the PMC Motorsport Mercedes-Benz - BMW flywheel?
In the case of mounting the PMC Motorsport Mercedes-Benz - BMW ZF flywheel, use the ring gear (flywheel) from the automatic Mercedes-Benz OE version (OE number: a2730300312).
3. The GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearbox does not fit all holes of the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter.
(Applies to adapters manufactured after 2022) The PMC Motorsport adapter is the most universal adapter available on the market, supporting almost every BMW gearbox. When designing the adapter, we decided on certain concessions. This is the case with gearboxes: GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5, where the two upper holes must be slightly ground in the housing/bell of the gearbox. This modification does not affect the alignment of the engine and gearbox.
