Parts intended for installation by professionals with knowledge of engine SWAPs and car modifications - in specialized workshops and using appropriate tools.
The adapter installation manual contains only the basic knowledge required for the physical connection of the engine and gearbox outside the vehicle body.
Depending on the vehicle, additional modifications may be required, such as: adjusting mounts, engine cushions, firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.

To mount the flywheel, it is necessary to use the automatic version flywheel Mercedes-Benz OE 112 032 02 47 (not included in the set). The clutch fork should be mounted on the lower release bearing position (in the case of a two-position bearing)

When installing the PMC Motorsport Mercedes-Benz - BMW ZF flywheel, you must use the ring gear (flywheel) from the automatic version Mercedes-Benz OE (OE number: 112 032 02 47).
3. Can I use the PMC Motorsport Mercedes-Benz - BMW gearbox adapter for ZF 8HP?
Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market (applies to adapters manufactured after 2022). If you wish to change to a ZF 8HP automatic gearbox, the standard flywheel must be replaced with the 8HP converter adapter (PMC Motorsport).
4. Which clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?
The Mercedes-Benz - BMW flywheel was designed for a clutch pressure plate from BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Very often, ACT / Spec / Tanaci clutches are used with our kit (it is important that the non-standard pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For the gearbox you have, you should use a clutch disc with the appropriate spline, a dedicated release kit, and a slave cylinder.
