The adapter installation instructions contain only the basic knowledge necessary to physically connect the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on your car, there may be additional modifications such as: adjustment of mounts, cushions and engine bulkhead, gearbox tunnel, drive shaft length, etc.

An additional gearbox adapter is not required to connect the BMW M50 S50 M52 S52 M54 S54 engine with a manual 6-speed gearbox to the BMW n54. The assembly is practically P&P, the two upper holes of the GS6-53BZ gearbox must be ground in order to fit properly - this procedure does not affect the centering of the engine and gearbox.

The PMC Motorsport BMW M50 S50 M52 S52 M54 S54 - GS6-53BZ N54 flywheel was designed for the clutch pressure plate with M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Very often, clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaci are used with our set (it is important that the non-standard clutch pressure also fits under the BMW flywheel OE: BMW M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For your gearbox, use a clutch disc with an appropriate spline, a dedicated release kit and a slave cylinder.
