The adapter is designed to simplify the gearbox installation as much as possible, avoiding radical steps such as cutting the entire bellhousing – all that remains is preparing the opening for the starter motor. The PMC custom aluminum rigid flywheel [SMF] comes with a perfectly matched spline hub for the DCT input shaft.

Parts are intended for installation by professionals with knowledge of engine SWAPs and car modifications, in workshops using appropriate tools.
The adapter installation manual provides only the basic knowledge necessary to physically connect the engine and gearbox outside of the vehicle body.
Depending on the specific car, additional modifications may be required, such as adjusting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
In the case of DCT / DKG gearbox adapters, the use of a transmission control unit (TCU) is required.
We manufacture our adapters using fully recyclable materials.
Please note that a lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising throttle response at the cost of eliminating factory damping elements. This results in a more direct operation of the drivetrain, which may lead to a natural increase in audible gearbox mechanical noise. This is a desired characteristic in sports vehicles, resulting from the rigid connection between the engine and the drive.
