The pulley is made of 6082-T6 aluminum and is designed for synthetic rope. It has been engineered for ropes with a diameter of up to 12mm. The sides of the pulley are undercut so they do not come into contact with the rope, minimizing the friction torque between the pulley and the synthetic shackle. At the same time, the increased width around the bore positively affects the pulley's strength.
