The aluminum gearbox adapter plate was designed to simplify gearbox installation as much as possible, avoiding radical steps like cutting off the entire bellhousing – only the starter motor clearance needs to be prepared. The adapter requires a custom PMC Motorsport flywheel matched to the chosen gearbox (sold separately).

PMC Motorsport parts are intended for motorsport and race track use.
Installation should be carried out by professionals with knowledge in engine swaps and car modifications – in workshops and using properly adapted tools.
The adapter installation manual contains only basic knowledge necessary to physically connect the engine with the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on your specific car, additional modifications may be required, such as adjusting mounts, engine/gearbox mounts, firewall, transmission tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
We manufacture our adapters using fully recyclable materials.
Installation instructions
The gearbox adapter requires a custom PMC Motorsport flywheel, and for automatic gearboxes – a PMC Motorsport torque converter adapter (not included in the kit).
In the case of an RHD engine (right-hand drive), a starter motor from the LHD version must be used and the plug in the engine block cut out.

Which engines does this adapter fit?
For BMW V8 M60 (M60B30, M60B40), M62 (M62B35, M62B44, M62B46, M62B48, also TU versions), and S62 (S62B50) engines. The adapter is intended for LHD engines – on RHD engines, a starter motor from the LHD version must be used.
Which gearboxes fit the adapter?
For 6-speed manual gearboxes ZF GS6-53DZ (BMW M57N / M57N2 / N57 / N47S: E60 530d, E9x 330d, F10 530d, E8x 123d) and ZF GS6-45DZ, as well as automatic gearboxes ZF 6HP (6HP26, 6HP26X, 6HP28X) and ZF 8HP (8HP45, 8HP50 / 8HP51, 8HP70, 8HP75). Is a flywheel included in the kit?
No. The adapter requires a custom PMC Motorsport flywheel selected for your chosen gearbox. The flywheel (or torque converter adapter for the ZF 8HP transmission) is available separately.
Do I need to cut the gearbox bellhousing?
No. The adapter was designed to avoid cutting the bellhousing – you only need to prepare the clearance hole for the starter motor.
Which starter motor should be used?
BMW M60 / M62 OE starter motor from the LHD version. On an RHD engine, a starter motor from the LHD version must be used and the plug in the engine block cut out. The starter motor is not included in the kit.
Does the adapter also fit the ZF 8HP automatic transmission?
Yes. The adapter supports ZF 8HP (8HP45, 8HP50 / 8HP51, 8HP70, 8HP75) and ZF 6HP automatic transmissions. When converting to an automatic transmission, a PMC Motorsport torque converter adapter is used instead of a flywheel.
Does the price include customs duty for shipments outside the European Union?
No. The product price and shipping estimate do not include customs duties or additional fees that may apply in the recipient's country.
Can I buy with 0% VAT?
Yes, if you are a B2B customer outside Poland with an active EU VAT number (verification in the VIES system) or ordering with shipping outside the EU.
Are the included instructions sufficient for installation?
The instructions describe connecting the engine to the gearbox outside the car body. Depending on the vehicle, additional modifications may be required: mounts, bushings, firewall, gearbox tunnel, driveshaft length. We recommend installation by professionals.
