The adapter installation manual contains only the basic knowledge necessary for physically connecting the engine to the gearbox outside the car body.
Depending on the specific car, additional modifications may be required, such as: adjusting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, transmission tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
Our adapters are made from fully recyclable materials.
For flywheel assembly, the use of Honda K OE 90011-PNA-B00 bolts is required. The clutch fork should be mounted in the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a dual-position bearing).

1. Which starter motor should be used with the PMC Motorsport Honda K - BMW adapter?
You should use the OEM Honda K K20/K24 starter motor.
2. The GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearbox does not fit all holes of the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter.
(Applies to adapters produced after 2022) The PMC Motorsport adapter is the most universal adapter on the market, supporting virtually every BMW gearbox. When designing the adapter, we decided on certain compromises. This is the case for: GETRAG 250 / GETRAG 420 / ZF 310 / ZF 320 / ZF5 gearboxes, where the two top mounting holes need to be slightly ground down in the gearbox bell housing. This modification does not affect the alignment of the engine and gearbox.
3. Can I use the gearbox adapter for the 6-speed GS6-53DZ / GS6-53BZ gearbox?
Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market (applies to adapters produced after 2022). If you want to change the gearbox, you only need to change the flywheel and clutch disc.
4. Can I use the PMC Motorsport Honda K K20 K24 - BMW gearbox adapter for a ZF 8HP?
Yes, the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter itself is universal and fits most BMW gearboxes available on the market (applies to adapters produced after 2022). If you want to change the gearbox to an automatic ZF 8HP, you must replace the standard flywheel with an 8HP converter adapter (PMC Motorsport).
6. What clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?
The Honda K K20 K24 - BMW ZF flywheel was designed for the pressure plate from the BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Very often, clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaci are used with our kit (it is important that the custom pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For your specific gearbox, you should use a clutch disc with the appropriate spline, a dedicated clutch release kit, and a slave cylinder.
When testing our kits, we used the BMW OE clutch master cylinder 21 52 6 773 670 | 21526773670 and the BMW OE clutch slave cylinder 21 52 1 164 529 | 21521164529. In case of installation in chassis other than BMW, it is recommended to adjust the clutch master cylinder.
