Lightweight, rigid flywheel for Lexus IS200 1st-GEN [1G-FE]. Made using CNC technology from aluminum, it features a steel, replaceable friction plate and a galvanized starter ring gear with OE hardness. Mounting points are retained as in the OE flywheel (P&P flywheel).

The lower inertia of a lightweight flywheel results in significantly better and faster throttle response, improving the car's acceleration. Although engine power is not increased, losses in the drivetrain are reduced, resulting in slightly higher power at the wheels. Lightweight flywheels perform very well on winding tracks, as the car regains lost speed in corners much faster. Flywheel checked and balanced before shipment.

It is worth remembering that a lightweight flywheel provides uncompromising throttle response at the expense of eliminating factory dampening elements. This translates into a more direct drivetrain operation, which may result in a natural increase in audible gearbox gear noise. This is a desirable characteristic in sports vehicles resulting from the rigid connection of the engine to the drive.
