Aluminum clutch kit enabling the connection (swap / conversion) of Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ engines (GE GTE VVT-i and non VVT-i versions) with a manual ZF gearbox (ZF Friedrichshafen) / Getrag gearbox from BMW. The adapter supports popular manual gearboxes such as ZF 5, Getrag 420 G, Getrag 250 G.
Custom aluminum flywheel 240mm / 9.45" with interchangeable friction disc (FW001.00.02 spare part available on the website) - adapted for BMW M57 or BMW E46 M3 pressure plate (not compatible with M50 / M52 / M54 / S50 / e36 M3). Each PMC Motorsport flywheel is checked and balanced before shipment, the kit includes all necessary mounting bolts.
ZF Friedrichshafen ZF-5 (ZF 5) S5D-310 S5D-320 is a 5-speed manual transmission used in BMW E series with engines M50 M52 M54 ( E36 328i, M3 USA E46 328i, 328ci, 330i, E34 525i (M50), E39 525i (M54) 528i (M52) 530i (M54), Z3 2.8i (M52) 3.0i (M54), Z3 M3.2i (S52) *Canada & USA only, M3.2i (S54)). The clutch adapter is used in Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ swaps in both classic BMW E series models such as E30 E36 E46 E39 E60 E61 E90 E92 E81 E82 and new F and G models. The widespread availability and durability of BMW ZF and Getrag gearboxes make them a very common choice for building projects intended for both daily driving and motorsport (Drift / Time Attack). The ZF-5 gearbox bellhousing is also widely used by manufacturers of sports dogleg (dog-leg) gearboxes.

Installation Instructions
!! PMC Motorsport parts are intended for motorsport use on racetracks. Parts are to be installed by professionals using appropriate tools in suitable workshops !!!
The installation manual includes a basic diagram for mounting the engine with the gearbox outside the vehicle.
The gearbox adapter and flywheel are made of aluminum and cast iron and are fully recyclable.

You should use the flywheel / ring gear from the automatic version of the Toyota 1JZ 2JZ, along with one spacer (OE 32116-22020 4.5mm) between the engine block and the ring gear (not included in the kit).
The starter remains OE Toyota 1JZ 2JZ (one mounting hole needs to be enlarged and a threaded insert included in the kit needs to be installed).
Remove the bearing from the crankshaft hub (automatic version JZ) and replace it with a centering sleeve from the kit.
Two mounting holes of the ZF-310 ZF-320 Getrag 250 Getrag 420 gearbox should be ground down.
The bearing and clutch release fork remain from the existing gearbox. If you have a bearing with two height positions, use the 24mm position.
Use a 240mm clutch disc that fits your gearbox.
Replace the original spherical pin (pivot pin) with the custom one from the kit.
