An adapter enabling the connection (swap / conversion) of the BMW M62 V8 engine with the manual 6-speed ZF GS6-53DZ gearbox (ZF Friedrichshafen) from the BMW 5 Series E60 E61. The kit includes the high-performance Sachs Performance 883082.001243 pressure plate without self-adjusters and a sport (sintered) PMC clutch disc 32.5x35-26N (Miba sintered pads). The adapter is dedicated for amateur and professional motorsport (drift / time attack / race). Due to the 0-1 clutch disc characteristics, the set is not recommended for Daily use.

The flywheel base and the gearbox adapter are made of a light and durable aluminum alloy. The set includes crankshaft mounting bolts in class 12.9 (ISO 21269) - tightening torque of 120Nm (thread locker must be used for mounting), bolts for mounting the clutch pressure plate, a custom steel clutch fork pivot pin, and all necessary bolts for mating the engine with the gearbox.

Flywheel centering sleeve

The sleeve ensures ideal centering of the flywheel on the crankshaft, additionally the set includes a fitted sleeve that performs the same function as BMW OE 11 21 1736881 (the sleeve must be mounted in the larger hole on the flywheel)

Replaceable friction plate.

The worn friction plate is easily removable, and you can find a new spare part in our offer.

The flywheel was made of aluminum and cast iron and is fully recyclable.

It requires the use of a PMC gearbox adapter (the adapter only fits the ECE / LHD version) and a flywheel from the BMW M60 or M62 version with an automatic gearbox (do not use BMW 24 40 1421305) and a BMW M62 crankshaft position sensor - these elements are not included in the set. The starter remains BMW OE.
