The adapter installation instructions provide only the basic knowledge necessary for the physical connection of the engine and gearbox outside the vehicle body.
Depending on the vehicle, additional modifications may be required, such as: adjusting mounts, bushings, engine firewall, transmission tunnel, driveshaft length, etc.
Our adapters are made from fully recyclable materials.
To install the flywheel, it is necessary to use the flexplate from the automatic version GM Chevrolet LS OE (OE numbers: 12654640 12553054 12563136 12580709 12602448 12606620 12637677) (not included). The clutch fork must be mounted on the lower position of the release bearing (in the case of a two-position bearing).

For the installation of the adapter, a GM Chevrolet LS OE starter motor must be used.
2. Which ring gear should be used for the PMC Motorsport GM Chevrolet LS - BMW flywheel?
When mounting the PMC Motorsport GM Chevrolet LS - BMW ZF flywheel, the ring gear (flexplate) from the automatic GM Chevrolet LS version (OE numbers: 12654640 12553054 12563136 12580709 12602448 12606620 12637677) must be used.
3. Which clutch can I use with the PMC Motorsport flywheel?
The GM Chevrolet LS - BMW ZF5 flywheel is designed for a clutch pressure plate from BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58 / BMW E46 M3 / Sachs Performance 883082.001243. Clutches from ACT / Spec / Tanaci are very often used with our kit (it is important that the aftermarket pressure plate also fits the BMW OE flywheel: BMW M57 / M57N / M57N2 / N54 / B58). For your gearbox, use a clutch disc with the appropriate spline, a dedicated release kit, and a slave cylinder.
